Luc is fascinated by all things visual and how they connect to the ever-evolving technology surrounding us. He studied at Amsterdam’s University of Applied Sciences, completing a BA in Visual Marketing and then went on to earn a masters in animation and VFX at the UK's National Centre for Computer Animation. Luc was sponsored by David Fincher to come to the USA after David saw Luc’s viral films for Ray Ban, Levi’s, and Nissan. It was here that he began to take advantage of the tremendous opportunity in storytelling for new mediums and for modern audiences hungry for something different. Luc has been the go-to creative for a wide range of interactive campaigns that allow viewers to engage and become a part of the story. To Luc, directing is more than creating a beautiful piece of film, it’s about effective storytelling which allows for audience participation. Luc directed under the Minivegas moniker for nine years and then went on to launch Pet Gorilla, whose mission was to take creative concepts through to completion with a particular focus on cutting-edge technology. Luc lives in Los Angeles, splitting his time between hiking the canyons and sitting in front of his custom-built supercomputers mining crypto, building avatars., and working on his new tech startup called DNABlock.
